Slow Food Santa Barbara

Producers

What would the chefs do without the farmers, fishermen, winemakers, and food artisans?

Support Our Work

Blessed with a mild climate and beautiful natural setting Santa Barbara is known as "The American Riviera."
Sea life is abundant and diverse, and our local catch travels as far as Japan and China.
Avocado, Citrus, strawberries, and an array of fresh produce are harvested throughout the year.
Cattle ranches used to dominate the Santa Ynez valley and inland areas, but they have been giving way
to a thriving wine industry whose production is garnering international recognition. We are listing wineries that have expressed
an interest in the principles of Slow Food, and use sustainable farming methods.

Helping Quality Food Producers to not only survive, but to thrive, is a key part of Slow Food's mission.
If you are a producer and would like to be listed here, please send us an e-mail with description of your products and contact info.
